End-of-year fundraising campaign
A window into a threatened ecosystem to protect.
WWF-Belgium campaign Adopt a Sea Turtle Today was showcased to visitors of 3 cinemas in Antwerp, Ghent, and Hasselt.
The campaign supports WWF’s conservation work in Pomio (Papua New Guinea) — home to one of the most biodiverse rainforests on the planet and coral reefs among the richest in the world, both increasingly threatened.
WWF is working to protect Pomio’s ecosystem, partnering with local communities on sustainable livelihoods and nature conservation, including ongoing research into the sea turtles that are central to the ecosystem’s health.
I designed an immersive, 4-layers illustration for 3 cinema halls windows across Belgium. window stickers as an additional 4th layer.
The illustration needed to be true to the biological features without being too realistic; it needed to be warm and attractive, yet not cartoony.
Immersed in a beautiful submarine landscape, 7 sea turtles from different species swim between fishes and other marine life forms. Hidden here and there, 4 major threats to their ecosystem.
Window stickers guide the viewer discovering the scenery and interacting with it.
