An identity extending beyond the event
Books & Wine is a series of intimate events celebrating artbooks and exceptional wines, hosted by Justina Nekrasaite, The Book Photographer in Amsterdam.

Justina desired this project to have its own visual identity, to attract a specific, high-end audience, and be recognised as organiser of cultural formats and experiences.
Together, we defined the positioning, narrative and global direction.
an invitation meant to be shared
For the invitation, I designed a perpetual card, where the date is filled in by hand.
The card is designed to be torn into two parts, giving it a double life beyond the event itself: one half to pass on the invitation to a friend, the other to keep as a fancy bookmark.
The card is printed on a purple double-weight stock, using a burgundy red hot-foil reminiscent of wine.
unexpected details
As the event is meant to bring some unexpectedness (not the usual wine tasting), we also created embroidered bracelets quoting “books, wine, repeat”.
A fun, thoughtful detail that make the event extend beyond the moment.
